Forms	Singular	Plural
Positive	There is a cat on the table.	There are five cats under chair.
Negative	There is not a book in the bag.	There are not books in the bag.
Question	Is there a restaurant around here? Yes, there is. / There is not.	Are there any chairs? Yes, there are.  / No, they are not.

Attention!

     1)  ການສ້າງປະໂຫຍກປະຕິເສດ ແລະຄຳຖາມແມ່ນເຮັດຄື Verb to be.

     2)  ຢ່າໄປສັບສົນກັບ Verb to have ເຖິງວ່າແປວ່າ ມີ ຄືກັນ ແຕ່ຄວາມໝາຍຕ່າງກັນເຊັ່ນ:

           There is a dog. (ມີໝາໂຕໜຶ່ງໂຕ ແຕ່ບໍ່ໄດ້ບອກວ່າໃຜມີ)

           I have a dog.    (ມີໝາໜຶ່ງໂຕ ໝາຍເຖິງຂ້ອຍມີ)
